Challenge

Querri presented g/d/n/a with a formidable challenge: to design, build, and deploy a market-ready SaaS data transformation product incorporating LLM-powered NLP capabilities within a 12-week timeline. Hosted on AWS, the solution had to be scalable, secure, governed, and efficient, ensuring top performance for secure and intensive API interactions with various large language models.

Our task was not only to meet these technical and operational requirements but also to significantly reduce time-to-value, supporting Querri’s strategic goals and enhancing our credentials for AWS APN accreditation.

Solution

In response to these challenges, our partnership with Querri led to the deployment of the platform on AWS through a 14-week sprint-based agile project, enhanced strategically as follows:

• Front-End Development and Deployment: The Svelte user interface application, deployed as an Nginx container, was optimized for security and responsiveness, crucial for handling dynamic content updates and ensuring high user engagement.

• Security and Identity Management: We integrated Amazon Cognito for robust user authentication, complemented by AWS API Gateway to ensure secure and effective authorization management. This setup safeguarded data and guaranteed authorized access for both B2C and B2B use cases.

• Backend Integration and Containerization: The Python-based backend, interacting seamlessly with various large language models, was containerized using AWS EC2 Docker clusters to manage service components efficiently and maintain high performance under variable conditions.

• Data Management: Utilized AWS S3 for scalable object storage and Amazon DocumentDB for structured data, ensuring high availability and robust data handling capabilities.

• Operational Excellence and CloudOps Integration: Leveraging gdna's CloudOps expertise and Montycloud Day2 tooling, we implemented comprehensive monitoring, management, and operational governance aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, including advanced system monitoring and managed DevSecOps practices for secure continuous integration and delivery.
