  • Students preparing for HarborHack who want to sharpen ideation, building, and pitching skills.
  • Entrepreneurs, innovators, and small business leaders looking to understand how AI, multi-agent systems, and digital tools can drive growth.

Do I need prior experience?

No. Students will be guided through hackathon prep sessions, and entrepreneurs will gain insights at any stage of their journey.

What is the cost to attend?

Free — thanks to AWS and partner sponsorship.

What should I bring?
  • Students: a laptop, charger, and your creativity.
  • Entrepreneurs: a notebook or device for taking notes, plus curiosity and questions.
How does this connect to HarborHack?

This event is the on-ramp to the hackathon. Students sharpen their ideas and pitches, while entrepreneurs plug into Charleston’s innovation energy. HarborHack begins immediately after this session.

Do I have to be competing in HarborHack to attend?

Not at all. Students will get value whether or not they’re registered, and entrepreneurs can attend independently of the hackathon.

Is this only for tech founders?

No. The entrepreneur track is designed for anyone exploring how digital tools, AI, and innovation strategies can grow their business — whether you’re in tech, health, manufacturing, or services.

Will I learn things that apply if my business isn't "AI-first"?

Yes. The focus is on practical innovation — how to start from where you are today and adopt what makes sense for your growth path.
